What is your shoe size?
If you’re new to Kneaded Relief, you may be surprised that one of the first things we ask is, “What size shoe do you wear?” There’s a reason for that!
From the moment you arrive, we want you to leave the “outside, outside.” Take off your shoes, slip into a pair of sandals, get comfortable and stay awhile. It’s one of the little ways we help you transition from the busyness of your day into relaxation mode. As an added bonus, changing into sandals also helps keep footsteps quieter on our bamboo floors, creating a more peaceful environment throughout the spa.
Our sandals run fairly true to size and are available from size 5/6 through 13. If you’re between sizes—or for most men—we recommend sizing up. We have sandals with reflexology bumps as well as smooth options, so please let us know if you have a preference!
And don’t forget the robe! We offer robes to all of our guests because, quite simply, we want you to be cozy. If you’re enjoying multiple services, we highly encourage—and in some cases require—a robe so you aren’t changing in and out of your clothes between appointments. We recommend sizing up for extra coverage and comfort. Robes are available in Small, Medium, Large, XL, 2XL and 5XL. For traditional-polish manicures and pedicures, however, a robe may not be the best choice since changing afterward could risk smudging that beautiful polish. With gel, you’re good to go!
While you’re settling in, lockers are available for your clothing and belongings. Help us maintain the peaceful atmosphere by silencing your cell phone and saving phone conversations for outside the spa. Our Relaxation Retreat is a shared quiet space where guests can unwind before, between and after services. If you’re visiting with a friend and would like to chat, our Wellness Classroom is available most days as a comfortable place to catch up.
Then make yourself at home! Enjoy complimentary tea, water and fresh fruit, curl up with our guest book or bird book, or even spend a little time coloring.
Take off your shoes. Put on a robe. Grab some tea. Stay awhile.
