Melissa
Esthetics Department Manager, WI Licensed Esthetician
Hello, my name is Melissa. I have been with Kneaded Relief since 2000. I graduated from Martin’s College of Cosmetology in 1999, earning a License of Esthetics. I started working as an esthetician in my hometown of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Then I decided it was time to step outside of my hometown and experience Madison. Kneaded Relief has been the only spa I have worked at since I moved here. You may ask yourself, why? The reason is Kneaded Relief has a great team and a welcoming atmosphere.
Throughout the years, I have expanded my knowledge by taking classes at the Conservatory of Esthetics, now known as, the Bioelements Learning Center and by studying and discovering new information and techniques in my field of practice. In every treatment I provide, my goal is to teach the importance of skin care and to customize an everyday regimen for each individual’s specific needs. I also would like to help each individual relax, by finding their inner peace so they can leave the stress of everyday life behind them. I look forward to seeing you soon!
“When I turned 40 I decided to get more serious about taking care of my skin. Kneaded Relief was close to my house so I wanted to give it a try. I was randomly matched to Melissa and am forever grateful. From my first facial appointment I could tell she would teach me a lot about caring for my skin. She made a point to share what she noticed, positive and negative, and gave me simple and practical advise to continue with home care. I look forward to returning every six to eight weeks to experience her professional care. Thank you Melissa for helping me have a more positive relationship with my skin. It was a long time coming.”
Melissa has the distinct honor of being voted Madison’s Best Esthetician for 3 years running!
Sydni
WI Licensed Esthetician
Hello, my name is Sydni and I am an esthetician here at Kneaded Relief Day Spa and Wellness.
I grew up in the small town of Warren, Illinois. I was a three-sport athlete as well as a member of FCCLA and was on the academic bowl team. I loved growing up in my small town! I thought for a long time that I would never leave but as I got older, I realized I needed more. I decided to branch out and move to Wisconsin to start my own path. Outside of work you will find me in the gym, hanging out with my cat, trying a new recipe or spending time with friends and family.
I have always had a passion for all things skincare but let’s starts from the beginning. When I was a little girl, I took dance classes. That kicked off my fascination for makeup. A core memory for me is my mom and I spending an hour in the bathroom getting me all dolled up before it was time for me to step on stage. I remember being so excited to put on my bright red lip stick with a shiny gloss on top. I would then proceed to stare at myself in the mirror until it was time to go. Fast forward to high school, I was always the go to girl when someone needed their makeup done. From proms to homecoming to even family get togethers, my weekends were full. It wasn’t until my senior year that I came to realize the reasoning behind why I loved being a makeup artist wasn’t doing the makeup itself but the shift in confidence in my clients when it was done. I knew from that moment on I wanted enhancing people’s beauty and self-confidence to be my every day job. I want to make people feel as confident as I did with my bright red lip stick on. That’s when I found out about the esthetics program at Capri in Dubuque, IA and found my true passion for skincare. So, in 2021 after I graduated from high school, I took the first step in starting my dream career. Fast forward to today and my passion for helping people reach their skincare goal still holds true. I’m so excited to meet you and assist you in feeling like the best version of you!
“The service was everything I had hoped for and that is 100% thanks to Sydni!”
”Sydni’s service and skills were top notch”
Tenzin
WI Licensed Esthetician
Hello, I’m Tenzin, a dedicated esthetician with over five years of experience in skincare, nail services, and eyelash extensions. My passion for beauty and self-care began in my early 20s in India, where I participated in the Miss Tibet contest in 2002 and was honored with the Miss Photogenic award—an experience that was covered by international media and sparked my journey into the world of aesthetics. Since then, I’ve had the opportunity to take part in various fashion shows, provide professional makeup for models, and even work as a professional lash extension stylist for local celebrities and influencers in the past
In 2019, I earned my esthetician license and began focusing on advanced skincare treatments. I specialize in customized facials, microdermabrasion, chemical peels, LED therapy, and full-body waxing. I’m certified in PCA chemical peels and have completed PCA Skin master classes in Chicago, where I learned from top company trainers. I love performing treatments that deliver visible, long-term results, particularly chemical peels that renew and restore skin health.
For me, skincare is not just about appearance—it’s about wellness and confidence. Since childhood, I have been meticulous about my skin, and this passion led me to pursue a career as an esthetician. I believe that daily self-care routines, combined with regular professional treatments, are essential for maintaining healthy, radiant skin, especially for those who enjoy spending time outdoors. I’m passionate about connecting with my clients, helping them understand their skin, and tailoring regimens that enhance clarity, texture, and balance. My goal is always to create a calming atmosphere where guests can unwind, rejuvenate, and leave feeling refreshed—both inside and out.
“Wow! Truly one of the BEST facials I have ever had.”
“Tenzin was really nice and helpful! I appreciated that they explained the service to me and I felt well taken care of.”

Shelbie
WI Licensed Esthetician
“Hi and thanks for stopping by! My name is Shelbie, and I’m an aesthetician here at Kneaded Relief.
My journey began in healthcare studying nursing in 2017, where I quickly discovered a deep passion for caring for others. After taking time to explore different paths, I found that same fulfillment through years of bartending: by connecting with people, building relationships, and creating meaningful experiences. That combination of science, wellness, and human connection ultimately led me to pursue a career in aesthetics.
Thus, I graduated from the Aveda Institute of Beauty and Wellness in 2021. My approach is rooted in healing, education, and creating a space where each person feels seen and cared for. As my passion for wellness continues to grow, I will be pursuing massage therapy at East-West Healing Arts in the Fall of 2026, with the goal of becoming dual-licensed and expanding the ways I can support the body as a whole.
Outside of the treatment room, I love spending time with my two dachshunds, Rusty and Winston, who constantly remind me to slow down and enjoy the little moments.”
“It was one of the top five facials I've had in my rather long life”
“So gentle! It was very relaxing and soothing”
Angela
WI Licensed Esthetician
Hi there, I’m Angela! I never imagined that I’d become an esthetician. Growing up, I expected to become a medical practitioner. That didn’t happen, yet. So, what happened and how’d I get here? Who am I?
In high school, I created a project named “The Conquer Project,” focused on improving the mental health of adolescents. After presenting at a local city dinner, a young individual approached me, expressing that they felt heard. The smile on their face and the impact that I didn’t know I would make has been with me since. That’s when I discovered my passions: to speak, collaborate, create and serve others. Thus, leading me to graduate from UW-Whitewater with a BBA in Entrepreneurship.
During my last semester at UW-W, I recognized my enjoyment in learning about the integumentary system and skincare products. It was thrilling! The study of skin simply made sense to me in every way. Instead of pursuing a MBA in Project Management, I was going to aesthetics school!
Esthetics, to me, is beyond the health of the skin. It’s the health of the skin, physical body and spiritual mind. Taking care of my skin, researching product ingredients and constructing my own formulations based on the findings brought me peace. I’ve learned to love myself in a different way and find my own perception of beauty. Although it can seem that I chose esthetics, esthetics chose me.
I hope to leave a smile with each person I meet and make an impact, while being impacted in return. My purpose is to provide more than a treatment service. It’s to hold space, to educate and elevate your definition of beauty and wellness inside and out.
