Kris Kruckenberg
Hello, my name is Kris Kruckenberg. Welcome to Kneaded Relief Day Spa! I would like to take the opportunity to briefly explain my background.
I began my career in 1984 after graduating from The Scientific College of Beauty located in Madison, Wisconsin. At that time, I realized that I had a passion for skincare, spa services, and how great it was to make people feel and look better. Wanting more training to specialize in that area, I found The Waukesha School of Esthetics and graduated from there five months later.
In 1985, I started as Stylist and Esthetician in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. I was employed with them for two years, while I was working there; I was approached by an organization from the Greater Chicago area named The Wooden Door. They requested that I become their Esthetician at their retreat on Lake Geneva at CovenantHarbor. For the next two years, I worked for them, providing all of the skincare needs for their guests at the retreat, while continuing to work at the same salon in town.
It was then, that I felt it was time for me to branch out on my own. My dream was always to have my own full service salon. I took on a couple of partners and we had a successful six year run. We offered spa services along with hair and electrolysis. During our time as owner/operators, we all started to have children and after six years we decided to close the business and go our separate directions.
In 1993, I moved back to Stoughton to raise my family. I have four healthy and happy boys ranging from 24 to 13 years old. They definitely keep me busy. With the move back to Stoughton, I decided to get back in to the workforce. I have worked on and off in the salon field ever since, including as Assistant Manager at Aerial Company for over a year. Still, I felt as if I was just not fulfilling my career ambitions.
I came across an advertisement for The Conservatory of Esthetics in Chicago, now known as, The Biolements Learning Center and proceeded to take every class that my schedule would allow. They were fantastic and got me fired up to break back into the skincare field.
I have always wanted to be a part of The Kneaded Relief Team! I felt they were everything I was looking for in a spa. When you first arrive you are greeted by a very caring staff and you can feel the calm and relaxing atmosphere.
