Jasmine Clark

WI Licensed Esthetician

Hello and welcome to Kneaded Relief. My name is Jasmine Clark and I am a part of Kneaded Relief's wonderful esthetics department. I have always had a passion for skin care and waxing. I can remember being as young as 4 and experimenting with my mom's products. Although I have always worked in customer service related jobs it took me 26 years of my life to get into the career I had always dreamed of. I attended Martins College and received my state certification in January of 2007. Although new to the field, I feel I have gained so much knowledge already and I'm always looking forward to learning more.

I have a 3 year old daughter named Shay. Even at a young age I can see the interest she also has in skin care. She cleanses my face and uses my moisturizers (even when she isn't supposed to, bless her little heart).

I feel very fortunate to be a part of the Kneaded Relief family and to work with the amazing staff and clients. My favorite part of my career is that I am helping others feel confident with themselves. Seeing the smiles on their faces as they leave the spa puts a smile on my face and keeps me coming back day after day to help others.

Thank you for your time and for visiting us here at Kneaded Relief where you can relax and let us take care of the rest.

Angelina DiModica

WI Licensed Esthetician

Hey there I’m Angelina and I am an Esthetician here at Kneaded Relief. I welcome you to this amazing spa and I am looking forward to getting to know you! Here’s a little bit about myself.

My road to skin care began at Martin’s College of Cosmetology. I graduated in March of 2007. I wanted to work at Kneaded Relief because I have heard so many great stories from other clients! I truly enjoy helping people in any way that I can, by helping them to relax, answering all of their questions about their skin concerns, or doing whatever I can to make them feel good about themselves!

I began as a receptionist. During that time, I traveled to Chicago and attended classes at the Bioelements Learning Center. When I eventually got the chance to interview for esthetics I was so excited! It has been a very rewarding position. My co-workers and clients challenge me every day and are so inspirational to me! Not only do I give treatments to my clients but I love to develop a close bond with each of them. There is something great about getting to work one-on-one with people. It allows me to get to know them so well. I get to hear their stories, and see their progress with their skin and it’s just the most amazing feeling! I can finally say that I leave work every day with a smile, which, unfortunately, not many people can say! I want to keep learning more and more so that I may offer you the best treatment I possibly can!

So what made me interested in skin care? When I was 17 I underwent treatment for cancer. I was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s disease and had to have 4 months of Chemotherapy. The treatment left me with no hair, horrible breakouts from the chemicals and ghost white skin. I definitely did NOT feel confident about myself. My mom’s hairstylist would come over and apply makeup for me and give me scalp massages a couple times a week just to make me feel better- and it really did! Her thoughtfulness changed my opinion of myself and changed how I felt physically as well and that is EXACTLY what I want to do for others. Everyone should feel beautiful and healthy and relaxed and it’s my job to make sure they do!

Please take time for yourself and for your skin. Take time to feel great and let me help you get there! I look forward to meeting you and sharing some smiles here at Kneaded Relief!

Melissa Hoefling

Esthetics Department Manager, WI Licensed Esthetician

Hello, welcome to Kneaded Relief. I am Melissa Hoefling. I have been with Kneaded Relief since 2000. I graduated from Martin’s College of Cosmetology in 1999, earning a License of Esthetics. I started working as an esthetician in my home town of Green Bay, Wisconsin. Then I decided it was time to step outside of my home town and experience Madison. Kneaded Relief has been the only spa I have worked at since I moved here. You may ask yourself, why? The reason is Kneaded Relief has a great team and a welcoming atmosphere.

Throughout the years, I have expanded my knowledge by taking classes at the Conservatory of Esthetics, now known as, the Bioelements Learning Center and by studying and discovering new information and techniques in my field of practice. In every treatment I provide, my goal is to teach the importance of skin care and to customize an everyday regimen for each individual’s specific needs. I also would like to help each individual relax, by finding their inner peace so they can leave the stress of everyday life behind them. I look forward to seeing you soon!

Julie St. John

WI Licensed Esthetician

Long, long ago, in a city not-so-far from here, an idealistic young lady went to college for a Secondary Special Education degree for behavior and learning disabilities. She had a "bad feeling" about her chosen vocation from almost the start, but thought she'd outgrow it... Okay, of course that was me. And...I didn't outgrow it. I graduated with honors but never taught.

For several years I floated between office administration jobs, being valued and meeting wonderful people, but running into the ceiling of not having the right training, nor the pay to get the right training, for better positions. I finally broke into the computer industry in 2000, and actually really enjoyed being a software tester. In 2003, I had my first child, a daughter, and suddenly the 45+ hour weeks and solid pay didn't seem so great anymore... I really wanted to stay home and raise my baby. Seven months later, we took the leap of faith and I quit my job.

Sometime in here, my husband bought me some gift certificates for a certain Kneaded Relief Day Spa. The services were wonderful, but it struck a deeper chord in me than just "Wow that was awesome and I have the best hubby ever!" (Though that did occur to me.) I wanted to learn how to do this, I wanted to help other people feel THIS GOOD. I had found my calling. But funds were limited, and I loved being a stay-home mom. There was time.

In the latter half of 2004, I found out I was pregnant, and a bit of urgency took over as I had planned on starting esthetician school early the following year. It now looked like I was going to have to step that up a bit to graduate before my baby was born. We couldn't manage school AND two wee-ones in daycare. So at four months along, I started the Esthetician course at Martin's School of Cosmetology. I fell in love with the field at day one and never looked back. My son was born one month to the day after my graduation.

I worked at a salon/spa for a year, and eventually outgrew the position. I wanted to be able to do more services, have more access to training, and I really preferred to work in a day spa setting rather than a salon/spa. Despite working with some fantastic people, the moment I found out Kneaded Relief was hiring, I applied. I'm just delighted to be part of the Kneaded Relief family. I'm looking forward to meeting you.
